Covid 19 Information

For the safety of Edmontonians and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Assessment Review Board's office is closed to in person services (the exception being April 6-April 20, 2021 during which in person complaints will be accepted). These changes will be in effect until further notice. We will continue to re-evaluate these measures as the COVID-19 situation develops.

 

Filing a Complaint

Anyone wishing to file a complaint is encouraged to do so online or by mail. 

The Assessment Review Board office will open to accept complaints in person from April 6 - April 20, 2021. This will be the only timeframe in which in person complaints will be accepted. If you file in person, you will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing measures will be in place. 

Attending a Hearing

Hearings will be held in either a written format or through electronic means. You Notice of Hearing will provide details about attending your hearing and submitting documents.

Decisions of the Board

Due to ongoing operational restrictions, the Board will no longer be mailing decisions to parties who have authorized agents to represent them during the complaint and hearing process. A copy of the Board’s decision will be issued to your agent. Represented parties seeking information regarding the outcome of a hearing may communicate with their agents directly and/or refer to CanLii.org to view a decision once it has been issued.
