Filing An Appeal
How To File
- Your appeal must be in writing and must include the name and contact information of the person appealing, the address of the property under appeal, and the reference / file number indicated on the order or decision letter. You must also provide reasons for your appeal.
- For your convenience an appeal form is available on this website. You may submit your written appeal via mail, fax, e-mail or in person.
- If your appeal is regarding a notice issued under the provincial Weed Control Act, the $500.00 filing fee must accompany your appeal.

Print an appeal form or provide the required information in a letter.
The completed appeal form or your letter, along with the required appeal fee (if applicable) must be received in our office by the appeal deadline date which is indicated on the order or decision letter you received. If filing by mail, you must allow time for delivery.
Cheques are to be made payable to The City of Edmonton.
