The final written decision of the Board is issued within 15 days after the appeal hearing.
The Complaint and Investigations Section enforces the Bylaws, including the decisions made by the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) and Sustainable Development. If you have a bylaw complaint, please contact Customer Information and Advisory Services at 311.
Subdivision and Development Appeal Board decisions are final unless it can be shown that the Board erred in law or jurisdiction. You may appeal the Board's decision to the Alberta Court of Appeal.
You must apply for permission to appeal a decision of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 30 days of the date that the written decision was issued.
